A mysterious, un-announced as-of-yet device with a score of
43,149 on popular benchmarking app Antutu has surfaced. While Antutu might not
be the most accurate way of measuring, especially after the benchmark-boosting scandal,
most devices still hardly break the 40K barrier, so a score of over 43,000 is
very impressive.
It was achieved by a phone running MediaTek’s
MT-6595 octa-core processor, which is somewhat surprising considering it’s only 1.7GhZ, competing with the 2.5 GhZ like of Snapdragon 801, and prevailing. The mysterious handset also features Android 4.2.2 and 3GB of RAM.

The possibilities for which device could have achieved this
are so wide, it would be pointless to guess. One thing is for sure, this is
bound to be a phone worth waiting for.
