The AT&T
variant of the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, which features LTE capabilities, is going up
for sale online beginning today, and will be available for purchase in-stores
starting from July 25th.
Customers wishing
to buy the device online today have three purchasing options: Getting it for
$269.99 with a 2-year contract, skipping the contract and paying $369.99
upfront, or they can just add $18.50 to their monthly bill for 20 months.
T-Mobile has
already begun offering the device for sale, and all its prices match the ones
of AT&T. However, those wishing to get the Wi-Fi only variant will save
$100.
The version
AT&T and T-Mobile are offering features a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor paired
with 1.5GB of RAM, a 4,450 mAh battery,
3MP back camera, and 16 GB of storage with a microSD option. Those looking for
a device with a great display will be disappointed in this case, as the tablet
only offers a 1280x800 display, a standard we hoped passed from the world.
