BlackBerry BlackBerry Passport showed in video, features introduced

BlackBerry Passport, the upcoming, not-so-secret anymore flagship by BlackBerry, is taking us by a tide with it exotic look, something we truly haven’t seen before.

The BlackBerry Passport creates a Déjà Vu feeling with its extraordinary design, back to the introduction of the LG G2, with its back mounted keys. Notwithstanding, I think this is much more remarkable.

While the phone’s actual screen isn’t anything special, maybe the aspect-ration a little strange at 1:1, the QWERTY keyboard really stands out and will make holding the device tough to get used to. Nonetheless, personally, I like the way BlackBerry stays true to its vision and doesn’t let go of its trademark QWERTY keyboard.

So, the phone is rumored to have a 4.5’ 1440x1440 screen, BlackBerry OS v10.3 and 3GB of RAM, and a 3,450 mAh battery. What we see in this video is a feature concerning actually using the phone:

The video features swiping up and down on the keyboard to navigate on webpages. While we already knew of that feature, it will certainly make life easier, since most smartphone usage is with the web-browser, and it can lead to less tiring out.

Have I been unclear? Check the video for yourself:

The handset should launch around September, being in direct competitions with likes of the Galaxy Note 4 and iPhone 6. While it isn’t expected to take the market by a tide, a nice portion is definitely expectable.
