While this option has been rolling out since May, and
if a US owner really wanted he could make the transfer between Tizen and
Android by himself, now Samsung is officially enabling it, which means you can
make the transition more smoothly.
What it basically means to have official support is
that you can just plug your device into KIES, choose to transfer the phone’s
operating system from Android to Tizen, and voila, it will do all the work by
itself. Pretty neat.
That’s an option many Android and other OS’s customers
alike would have been very excited to see on their own phone, but it’s highly
unlikely you’ll be able to sport both iOS and Android on the same device any
time in the foreseen future.
So, what do you think about it, would you make the
transition? Anyways, it would definitely be pretty cool to try two different operating
systems on the same device.
