Google Maps Google Maps updated for Bikers, adds voice actions

The weekly updates continue with Google Maps starring the current one, in a new update which bikers would love to receive, bringing Maps’ version to V8.2.

The new update’s feature for bikers will show you what the elevation will be in the route you will take. That’ll surely be appreciated by bikers, as the app allows you to compare elevations between multiple routes, and find the one that’s easiest to climb.

Another feature that was added was support for in-navigation voice commands. That feature allows you to ask things such as “How much time left”, “Show traffic”, etc.

Here’s a video by Android Police, outlining all the new features:

The update should take a few days to roll out, and if you don’t feel like waiting, you can download it right here through Android File Host.
