A recent tweet by Google concerning easy grocery shopping has
left our head scratching. As you can see, there’s clearly a device in the
picture, and that device has a clear Nexus look to it, and that device is
clearly not the Nexus 5. So what are we seeing here?
Well, it might actually be
the Nexus 6. Lately, some rumors
were pointing to an October release of the product, as Sundar Pichai hinted at
the MWC 2014. That would also keep up with the yearly release schedule Google
has been keeping up until now.
However, first let’s clear some evidence that might point
against this being our first glimpse at the Nexus 6. As you can clearly see, the
new Android L on-screen buttons aren’t present here. It is very un-likely for
Google to release the next Nexus device without featuring the newest Android
build, that being Android L.
Don’t worry now, this could have quite a simple explanation-
perhaps Google wanted to only tease us with the next Nexus, but not be so clear
as to put the Android L buttons, so we’ll still have some room to wonder. This
could very well be a Nexus 6, or an Android Silver, under disguise.

As to the phone’s specifications, so far rumors are telling
us it will have a 5.2’ Full HD screen, bundling with a 13 MP camera, and either
Snapdragon 801/805 or Mediatek’s 64-bit processor. What do you think, is this
our first look at the next Google flagship? And if so, which OEM is behind
this?
