Sony Xperia Z3 passes through FCC

After the continuous leak stream concerning the upcoming Sony flagship, we now have official confirmation of its existence, and perhaps a clue of a nearby launch.

The Sony D6603, which for a long time we’ve been calling the Xperia Z3, and we widely believe it will be the Xperia Z3, has passed through the FCC to get all the regulatory approvals, as every phone does pre-launch.

Now, the leak doesn’t tell us very much, and except for telling us the phone will sport an infra-red transmitter, it just offers a square sketch of the phone (as you can see below). Nonetheless, an official confirmation of the existence of the phone we’ve all been suspecting doesn’t hurt.

The Sony Xperia Z3 will allegedly feature a 1920x1080 display, housing a 2.5GHz , quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, a 20.7MP camera, 2GB of RAM (although some claim it to be 3GB) and 16GB of internal storage.
