Samsung sends invites for Galaxy Note 4 launch event

It's that time of the year again. The widely popular Note series is due for a refresh, and Samsung has now officially confirmed it will be delivered.

Initially, the Note series was somewhat-criticized and people doubted it will get past the niche market. But, Samsung knew what it was doing, and here we are with the Note 4 being one of the most anticipated devices of the year.

We already know the phone will feature a 5.7' AMOLED display. Improvements over the Note 3 will likely feature improved resolution, camera, processor, battery, and water-resistant. Here's our list of rumored specs, and paired are the leaked Antutu benchmarks:

Galaxy Note 4 specs

Sony sends out invitations for September 3 IFA Berlin event, to announce Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact

Xperia Z3
Following all the recent leaks of the Xperia Z3 and the latest of the Z3 Compact, it seems Sony will not surprise as far as it comes to hardware, but software is always interesting, and the device does need an official event, so Sony will be hosting it in IFA Berlin on September 3 (We are going to cover it live so stay tuned!).

While this event will come two days before the IFA's official opening, we've seen Sony do that all the time, including with the Z2, basically trying to get all the attention without competing with the rest of the event, so that's not uncommon for Sony.

What will we see there? An Xperia Z3 with the alleged specs of a 5.2' 1920x1080 display, housing a 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 801, 3 GB of RAM and a 20.7 MP back camera.

While the Z3 is the mini edition and companies tend to get cheap on those, Sony will seemingly keep the tradition of releasing a specs-equal Compact version. While resolution logically goes down as a result of the smaller display, and it will probably have 2 GB of RAM, the specs are very un-compromising- 4.5' HD display, housing the same SD 801 processor paired with 2 GB of RAM, and the same 20.7 MP camera.

This event is still a month from now, so there is still some time left for more leaks to come. Stay tuned!
