Google Play Store updated, features Material-like design

In the previous week, we were seeing screen-shots that claimed to show a new design of the Google Play Store, which incorporates the new Material Design guidelines unveiled by Google in the I/O 2014.

Now the update is live, and we have some actual photos of how the Play Store looks when combined with Material-esque design guidelines. The new update brings version v4.9.13.

So, although most of the app stayed the same (navigation, overall UI), the app content pages are where you start seeing some real changes, with Google incorporating the new Material design, and it's been made much cleaner and more simple to navigate.

While many details such as the app's size and version have been moved to the app's description, the new version highlights pictures, and makes for an overall better experience. Check out the images below:

So, what do you think of it? If you didn't receive it, don't worry since it takes Google some time to roll it out to everyone. Happy Update Wednesday!
