Companies often make behind the scenes video, and the
point of them is to show us the faces of the people behind your favorite
flagship. But, good-intention behind-the-scenes videos can sometimes yield unwanted
(or perhaps secretly desired) consequences.
You might remember I showed you @evleaks' leaked HTC Watch render, which is supposedly identical to the final product (except for the watch face, of course). Now we received more details following a video by HTC itself.
In this HTC video, which was already released 2 weeks
ago, sharp-eyes viewers can spot what appears to be an HTC Smart-Watch on the
table of a worker. Now, while it looks like another work by Mr. Blurrycam, one
thing we do take is a confirmation of the company’s plan to produce a Watch in
the near future.
While following Smart-Watches by Sony, LG, Samsung and
Motorola, nobody doubted one was in the works over at the Taiwanese company,
now that we got real details of it some might be disappointed by the lack of a
moto-360-ish round watch face.
That doesn’t necessarily mean we will not get a premium
designed watch, and another thing we deter is a watch face similar to Blinkfeed’s
Watch widget- however, don’t expect a BlinkFeed experience since Google forbade
OEMs to customize the Android Wear OS.

You can also see what appears to be the Watch’s design
on the computer monitor, but that’s for a very short while so don’t take our
word for it. The watch is expected to be in the $200 range, and will probably
launch in the upcoming months.
