LG releases Tab Book, an Android-powered computer-tablet hybrid

While LG doesn't tend to release many devices, now not only is it releasing a new tablet not long after it unveiled it new LG G Pad series, but it has chosen to do so with a rather-un-traditional choice.

Creating computer-tablet hybrids is quite a common phenomenon at the Microsoft world, and you can find very powerful Window 8-powered hybrids, however this has not reached the Android world yet, and you can barely find any Android tablets that come close to pc-power.

Now, with this tablet, LG brings to the table an 11.6' 1920x1080 display, paired with a 2.6 GHz Intel i5 processor with Intel HD Graphics 4400, 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB SSD, all running Jelly Bean 4.2.2. It sports two usb 3.0 ports, weighs 1.05 KG, and is 16.7mm thick. It also has a slide-out keyboard that comes with the device, enabling it to turn into a computer-hybrid.

This device really looks like something that should have launched last year- The Full HD screen paired with the Vanilla-like 4.2.2 look rather half-baked, and LG would've been expected to have QHD paired with 4.4.4, and definitely not stock as that doesn't offer anything to use this really high-powered device.

So, although this is a very powerful device, which truly blows the rest of the tablets out of the water in terms of specs, it has a very half-baked look to it, and with the expected price tag of ~$1800, will probably not score a very high success.
