Samsung announced a delay in the release of the
Tizen-powered Samsung Z. The Samsung Z was supposed to
launch on July 10, but
just days before a Tizen developers conference in Moscow, Samsung made the postponement
without announcing a new due date, only stating it would launch at a later
date.
Samsung issued a statement, saying "the
smartphone will appear on the Russian market later, when we can offer our users a fullest portfolio of
applications." It appears Samsung is yet un-satisfied with the
amount of apps available on the Tizen OS, and is waiting for the Tizen market
to fill up.
The Samsung Z
packs a 2.3 GHz
quad-core processor, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of
storage, all within a 480x800 res 4.8’ screen. How would you consider getting a Tizen phone?
