Five months
since the Sony Xperia Z2 was announced back in February, and in accordance to
Sony’s typical 6-month cycle when it comes to releasing flagships, the release
of the Z3 is imminent.
So far not many details have leaked concerning the
phone, but this new batch of photos might be our first details about the
device.
As you can
well see, the device has a model number of L55, which would make sense since
the Z2’s model was L50. The device looks to continue Sony’s current design-trend,
with thin bezels on the sides but big in the upper- and bottom part.
The about section
tells us the device will be running the latest Android 4.4.4 Kitkat, and will
have the same 2.5 GhZ, 4-core Snapdragon 801 found on the G3 and the S5. Also
it seems the device will sport the same 20.7 Exmor sensors as found on its two
previous iterations, the Z1 and the Z2.
The pictures
look authentic but keep in mind this is a prototype device, and although the
design might be final the specs could very well change (like we saw on the G3,
when early rumors suggested Snapdragon 800). According to the current leaks,
will you be thinking on buying the phone?
