LG LG G3 released in India, starting at Rs. 47,990 ($796)


After it being launched in nearly every country in the world, US included, the LG G3 on its two variants is coming to India, as LG announced at an event in Mumbai.

Both variants will be available, with the 16GB/2GB RAM retailing for Rs. 47,990 ($796) and the 32GB/3GB RAM will cost you Rs. 50,990 ($846). It will be available in three color variants, Metallic Black, Silk White and Gold Shine (color names are getting more creative by the second aren’t they).


While the LG G Watch usually costs Rs. 14,999 ($249), LG is adopting its own strategy from other markets and giving LG G3 buyers a discount of Rs. 5,000 ($83). Additionally, you can purchase a QuickCircle case for Rs. 3,500, and you get a one-time screen replacement worth Rs. 6,500.


For you movie lovers, LG is set tor elease 15,000 limited edition handsets bearing the signature of popular Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan.

As a specs refreshment, the phone boasts a 5.5’ 2K display, run by a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 with varying RAM, 13MP camera, 3,000 mAh battery and all that with Android 4.4.2.
