Announced back in November,
2013, Moto G is due a refreshment pretty soon. It marked one of Motorola’s most
successful devices, giving them a big boost in emerging markets such as India
and selling with wide success.
Now, according to the new
image, the Moto G2 might be just around the corner, with an almost-final
prototype hitting the web paired with the alleged specs of the yet-un-announced
device.
According to the source, the
device has a model number of 1068-XT, and is seemingly the Moto G 2nd
generation (that isn’t necessarily the final name).
As far as specs go, the device
will feature a 4.5-4.6’ 720x1280 quad-core Snapdragon 400 paired with an Adreno
305 GPU, 8MP rear camera and dual-sim support.
The device seems to continue
the design language of the Moto G while mixing it with that of the Moto E,
creating an overall more appealing device.
Although the source didn’t
mention a release date, our guesses is that the announcement should be made
somewhere in the September area. Stay tuned!
