HTC Nexus 9 to feature monstrous specs, up to 5GB of RAM

Fan-made concept
Nexus 9, which seems to be the rumored Nexus 8 we’ve all been hearing about for such a long time, might finally be in the leaks stage, and now we start getting the first bits of information about it.

Now, for a long time it’s been rumored that the device will feature a 64-bit Tegra K1 processor, and now the device will allegedly have the crazy number of 5GB of RAM.

That might seem like a crazy number, since even 3GB of RAM seems like a lot now, and 4GB is barely commercial, but keep in mind that a 64-bit GPU allows you to do just that.

The picture above features a 'Flounder' mark, seemingly confirming the rumors of the device having  code-name of Flounder.

While @evleaks told us that this is not a final product, and the final one might feature ‘just’ 4GB, this device has apparently been tested with a Snapdragon 810, which is just as good as the Tegra K1.

It will allegedly sport an 8.9’ QHD display, and will sport an 8MP camera. Stay tuned for more details as we near the launch date.
